Deanna Mosier

KEWANEE – Deanna E. Mosier, 63, of Kewanee, died at 6:40 p.m., Tuesday, May 6, 2025, at OSF St. Anthony Medical Center in Rockford.

She was born February 7, 1962, in Moline, the daughter of Andrew and Mary (Mack) Sullivan. She married Harry E. Mosier on May 22, 1982, in Galesburg. Survivors include her husband of Kewanee, her five children; Brandon Mosier, Jolene Mosier, Aaron Mosier, Jeremy Mosier and his fiancée Lisa and Kim Ensley, all of Kewanee, two brothers, Michael Sullivan of Andover and Sean Sullivan of Osco, a sister, Kellie Sullivan of Kewanee, five grandchildren; Zach (Savannah), Devin, Jerzie, Landyn and Angel and a great grandchild, Oaklynn. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Patrick Sullivan.

Deanna attended nursing school and had worked as a nurse at the Hillcrest Home in rural Geneseo. She enjoyed crocheting and loved her family and cherished her time with them.

Cremation will be accorded and a memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 13 at Rux Funeral Home in Kewanee with Pastor Haley Hausman officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Memorials may be directed to her family. Rux Funeral Home in Kewanee is assisting the family with arrangements.
