Dee Ann Raver

KEWANEE – Dee Ann Raver, 44, of Kewanee, died Thursday, May 9, 2024 at the OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria.

She was born March 6, 1980 in Decatur, the daughter of Jerry and Diana (Chappel) Bafford. She married Justin Raver on October 21, 2000 in Poulsbo, WA. Survivors include her husband of Kewanee, her parents of Decatur, her son, Quentin Michael Raver of Kewanee, two sisters, Holly Bafford and Jenny Beery, both of Decatur, her grandmother and several aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews and cousins.

Dee graduated from Eisenhower High School in Decatur. She had a love for animals, especially dogs and enjoyed watching movies, reading and following politics. She had a deep appreciation for art and music.

A memorial visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m., Friday, May 17 at Rux Funeral Home in Kewanee. Immediately following the visitation, a wake will be held at The Stables in rural Kewanee. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to Freedom House, Richmond Hills Barn Theatre or to Goodwill.
