Dennis F. Carreau

KEWANEE – Dennis F. Carreau, 79, of Kewanee, died at 1:12 a.m., Saturday, August 30, 2025 at his home.

He was born October 15, 1945 in Central Falls, RI, the son of George and Mary (Dinosky) Carreau. Survivors include his two sons, Sean Carreau and Ryan Carreau, a brother, Richard Carreau and three grandchildren; Ella Carreau, Brittyn Carreau and Anissa Jackson. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife.

Dennis attended Bryant College in Smithfield, RI. He worked in management at Excelled Leather in Kewanee for many years. He was of the Catholic faith and enjoyed bowling, playing cards and golfing at Midland Golf Club. He especially enjoyed spending time with his friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 3:00 - 6:00 p.m., Sunday, October 5 at Midland Golf Club. Memorials may be directed to a charity of the donor’s choice.
