TOULON – Dina Lee Van Autreve, 90, of rural Toulon, died Monday, November 27, 2023 at her home.
Cremation will be accorded and graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 5 at Pleasant View Cemetery in Kewanee. Memorials may be directed to St. Peter’s Evangelical Church UCC. Rux Funeral Home in Kewanee is in charge of arrangements.
She was born October 21, 1933 in Kewanee, the daughter of Dallas and Pearl (Doye) Williams. She married Marvin L. Van Autreve on January 24, 1953 in Kewanee and he preceded her in death on June 17, 2005. Survivors include her two sons, Mark Van Autreve of Toulon and Martin “Marty” Van Autreve of Sacramento, CA, two brothers, Richard (Jeannie) Williams and August VanDeVoorde, both of Kewanee, two grandchildren, Tim (Jennifer) and Andrew and nine great grandchildren; Lexi, Megan and Paige, Max, Nolan and Nora and Evie, Ori and Finn. She was also preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Dixie Kirkhove and Billie Frates.
Dina graduated from Kewanee High School in 1951. She was a member of St. Peter’s Evangelical Church UCC in Kewanee where she taught Sunday School and was a member of Comforters at the church. She also quilted in a group at the church. She enjoyed crocheting, quilting, doing crossword puzzles and yard work.
