DAHINDA – Donald E. Rollins, 67, of Dahinda, died at 10:03 p.m., Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at Seminary Manor in Galesburg.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, November 22 at Rux Funeral Home in Galva with Pastor Kevin Drane officiating. There will be no visitation. Burial will follow in Galva Cemetery. A Celebration of his Life will be held at a later date. Memorials may be directed to his family for a memorial to be established.
He was born July 13, 1954 in Galesburg, the son of Thomas L. “Tom” and Nancy I. (Parker) Rollins. Survivors include his son, Dustin Rollins of Rio, a daughter, Tia Rollins of Iowa, three stepchildren; Randi Welsh and her boyfriend Gregg Anderson of Woodhull, Michelle (Brian) Alderson of Galesburg and Levi Fouts and his girlfriend Tasha Wilson of Galva, his five brothers; Ronald (Tammy) Rollins of Victoria, Roger (Linda) Rollins of Altona, Thomas (Connie) Rollins of Victoria, Jonathan (Anne) Rollins of Oneida and Kenneth (Nancy) Rollins of Altona, eleven grandchildren; Austin Bohn, Grant Poplett, Nicole Empson, Jacob Cole, Felicia Shaw, Karissa Welsh, Ethan Alderson, Tieler, Easton and Elijah Fouts and Tessa Wilson and three great grandchildren; Kolbi Marquith, Evalynn Beam and Casey Hansen. He was preceded in death by his parents and longtime companion, Patricia Fouts.
Donald graduated from ROVA High School. He had farmed and raised hogs and had worked as a mechanic and also had worked at the Woodhull Grain Elevator. He was a member of Little John Conservation Club where he enjoyed boating, camping, hunting and fishing. He loved to work and farm and especially enjoyed his family time.
