KEWANEE – Donald L. “Don” Fuller, 63, of Kewanee, died at 5:15 p.m., Sunday, December 20, 2020 at his home.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 23 at Rux Funeral Home in Kewanee. Rev. Mara Ahles-Iverson will officiate. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the services at the funeral home. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery where military rites will be accorded by the Kewanee Veterans Council. Memorials may be directed to the family for a memorial to be established. The funeral home requires that all guests wear a mask for the safety of all those attending. Rux Funeral Home in Kewanee is in charge of arrangements.
He was born October 3, 1957 in Moline, IL, the son of Delven LeRoy and Patricia Jean Ann (Massingill) Fuller. He married Crystal Petty on July 4, 1986. Survivors include his wife of Kewanee, his son, Donnie Fuller Jr., two brothers, Bill and David Fuller, a sister, Jeanie Gray, two grandsons, Brian and Austin Youtsy and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Theresa Youtsy.
Don served his country in the Army and was stationed at Fort Stewart in Georgia for 9 years. While in the military he was a carpenter with his specialty being masonry. He had worked as truckdriver for BP Transportation in Peru, IL. He was an avid Chicago Bears fan and enjoyed fishing and driving a truck.
