Donna M. Fairbrother

KEWANEE - Donna Marie Fairbrother, 58, of Kewanee, died at 12:49 p.m., Saturday, January 4, 2020 at her residence. 

Cremation will be accorded and no services are planned at this time. Rux Funeral Home in Kewanee is in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be directed to the family.

She was born September 27, 1961 in Dallas, TX, the daughter of Donald and Norma (Johnson) Herring. Donna married Thomas Fairbrother III on July 9, 2001 and he preceded her in death on February 28, 2019. She is survived by her daughter, Jillian Fairbrother of Kewanee, a son, Thomas Fairbrother IV of Kewanee, a sister, Renee Lewis of Kewanee, a sister, Carol Webb of Park City, IL and a brother, Thomas Herring.  Also surviving are five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.  Donna was also preceded in death by her parents and a nephew, Kristopher.

Donna graduated from Black Hawk East with an associate degree in Nursing. She was an LPN who had worked at Courtyard Estates and Bridgeway. Donna loved to work and spend time with her patients. She loved to watch CSI and other crime scene shows. Donna will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
