Donna Lee Jacobson

Donna Lee Jacobson, 69, of Kewanee, died on Saturday, May 23, 2026. She was born on April 19, 1957.

Donna was a loving wife to Arthur Jacobson who preceded her in passing by less than two weeks. She cared for him at the end of his life and together they were active in the community and dedicated their lives to service.

She is survived by her daughter Christina Acosta.

In earlier years, Donna was an X-Ray technician in the Los Angeles area. She lived in LA, Orange and Riverside County in California before meeting Art, getting married and moving to Kewanee, Illinois. She lived a happy and peaceful life in Kewanee with Art in the years before their passing. She loved to read, she enjoyed comedy and she adored animals, including her dog Sparkie. Donna was a bright, bubbly and vivacious person with a lot of energy and childlike wonder. She enjoyed Disney films, learning, museums, art, going on foodie adventures with her daughter and Art, and providing a listening ear when people were experiencing hardships. She will be dearly missed.

Cremation will be accorded and no services are planned at this time. Rux Funeral Home in Kewanee is assisting the family with arrangements.
