Dorothy Ann Doubler

GALVA – Dorothy Ann Doubler, 90, of Galva, died Thursday, June 16, 2022 at the home of her daughter.

A memorial graveside service and inurnment will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 22 at Galva Cemetery with Pastor Randy Swanson officiating. Memorials may be directed to the Messiah Lutheran Church in Galva. Rux Funeral Home in Galva is in charge of arrangements.

She was born April 17, 1932 in Geneseo, the daughter of Albert and Mildred (Anderson) Ogburn. She married Richard “Dick” Edwards on May 31, 1953 and he preceded her in death. She later married David E. Doubler on August 11, 1967 and he preceded her in death. Survivors include her children; Tim (Barb) Edwards of Waterville, MN, Jeff (Debbie) Edwards of Bella Vista, AR and Sharon (Jim) Love of Galva, a sister, Corinne Grant, eight grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her grandparents, parents, brother-in-law, Howard Grant and a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Kenny and Lorraine Smith.

Dorothy had worked as a florist. She was a lifelong member of Messiah Lutheran Church and enjoyed traveling, cooking and watching the Food Network.
