Eric B. Cole

KEWANEE - Eric B. Cole, 42, of Kewanee, died Wednesday, January 8, 2025 at OSF Saint Luke Medical Center in Kewanee.

Funeral services will be held at 6:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 15, 2025 at Rux Funeral Home in Kewanee with Pastor Haley Hausman officiating. A visitation for family and friends will be held two hours prior to services at the funeral home. Cremation will be accorded following the services and private inurnment will be held at a later date. Memorials may be directed to the family. Rux Funeral Home in Kewanee is assisting the family with arrangements.

Eric was born March 15, 1982, in Kewanee, the son of Michael and Connie (Williams) Cole. Survivors include his mother of Kewanee, his father, of LaPlata, MO, his son, Kaden of Jefferson City, MO, his daughter, Kaylee Cole of Princeton, his brothers, Kevin Cole of Sheffield and Brian Cole (Jaime) of Nesbit, MS, his sister, Michelle Cole of Kewanee and several nieces and nephews and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Eric was preceded in death by his grandparents, George L. Cole, June Kay Cole, Denny L. Williams, and Donna Mae Williams, a brother, Aaron Todd Cole, and a cousin, Justin Hampton.

Eric had a passion for remote controlled cars. He also enjoyed fishing, grilling, and being outdoors. Above all, Eric loved spending time with his friends and family.
