Gloria Jane Wojciechowicz

KEWANEE – Gloria Jane Wojciechowicz, 70, of Kewanee, died Monday, June 7, 2021 at UnityPoint Health-Trinity Rock Island.

Cremation will be accorded and a Celebration of Life will be held from 1:00-3:00 p.m., Saturday, July 3 at the Kiwanis pavilion at Windmont Park in Kewanee. Memorials may be directed to the Henry County Senior Citizens Center. Rux Funeral Home in Kewanee is in charge of arrangements.

She was born March 2, 1951 in Kewanee, the daughter of Marlin and Helen (McBride) Murray. Survivors include her son, Charlie (Emily) Wojciechowicz, two brothers, Kenneth and John Beaman, a sister, Charlotte (Jim) Dison and two grandchildren, Miranda and Payton. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Laura Salisbury and a brother, Bob Murray.

Gloria graduated from Neponset High School in 1969. She was a homemaker who enjoyed jewelry, gardening, sewing, making ceramics, attending cookouts and fishing at Windmont Park and Johnson’s Sauk Trail State Park. She especially cherished time with her family.
