Iva Marie Tracy

GALVA – Iva Marie Tracy, 85, of Galva, died at 5:28 p.m., Sunday, March 14, 2021 at the Hillcrest Home in rural Geneseo.

Cremation will be accorded and no services are planned at this time. Private inurnment will be held at Galva Cemetery at a later date. Memorials may be directed to a charity of the donor’s choice. Rux Funeral Home in Galva is in charge of arrangements.

She was born November 5, 1935 in Buffalo, KY, the daughter of Harvey and Minnie (Cruise) Turner. She married Jackie Tracy and he survives of Galva. She is also survived by a son, Earl Tracy of LaFayette, IL, two daughters, Vicky (Ron) Werkheiser of Kewanee and Sue (Ed) Secrist of Bishop Hill, a brother, Orville (Margaret) Turner of Wyoming, IL, a sister, Imogene Sterling of Galva, seven grandchildren; Tracy (Romie) Johnson, Lacy (Jessie) Stone, Carl (Nikki) Werkheiser, Ryan and Eric Werkheiser, Kiersten (Johnny) Howard and Karlie (Brandon) Greene and nine great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and several brothers and sisters.

Iva was a homemaker and enjoyed fishing, playing the slot machines and flowers. She especially loved her children and grandchildren.
