Jacqueline S. Lundburg

GALESBURG - Jacqueline Sue “Jackie” Lundburg, 59, of Galesburg, died at 8:04 p.m., Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, May 16 at Rux Funeral Home in Galva with Rev. Randy Hroziencik officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Oneida Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the Knox County Humane Society or the charity of the donor’s choice.

She was born January 8, 1963 in Galesburg, the daughter of Donald and Guynith (Hodges) Lundburg. She is survived by a brother, Dustin Lundburg of Galesburg, a sister, Karen (Tom) Kelly of Galva, a nephew Seth (Donel) Kelly of San Diego, CA, a niece, Sierra (Frank White) Kelly of Chicago, a great nephew, Theo Kelly of San Diego, CA and her four- legged companion, Candy. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Jackie was educated in the ROWVA and Galesburg school districts. She had worked for the past 22 years at the Knox County Nursing Home. She had enjoyed traveling with her parents and liked listening to country music. She especially loved her dog, Candy.
