Jan A. Raley

KEWANEE- Jan A. Raley, 82, of Kewanee, died at 12:03 p.m., Tuesday, January 23, 2024, at his home.

Cremation will be accorded and no services are planned at this time. Memorials may be directed to his family. 

He was born October 5, 1941, in Kewanee, Illinois the son of Francis and Charlotte (Berg) Raley. Survivors include his children; Kimberly Raley and Noel Raley, both of Kewanee, and Scott Raley and Steven Raley. both of Iowa, two brothers; Mike Raley of Galva and Francis “Gene” Raley of Kewanee, grandchildren; Jessa-Honesty, Mason, and Dylon Raley, and Levi Perkins, and two great-grandchildren Jackson and Kaci. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Susan Swineheart.

Jan attended school in Galva and went on to work for several companies including Hyster and Great Dane. Jan’s hobbies included playing pool, fishing, camping, and watching the Chicago Cubs and Bears. In earlier years, he loved to take on projects in his garage. He will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him.
