Jeanny R. Ibarra

GALVA – Jeanny R. Ibarra, 38, of Galva, died at 2:04 a.m., Wednesday, July 16, 2025 at OSF Saint Luke Medical Center in Kewanee.

She was born on January 25, 1987 in Kewanee, the daughter of James Raymond Ibarra and Gynethia (Bishop) Rodriguez. Survivors include her two children, Cavius Reed and Jayana Ringberg, both of Kewanee, her significant other, Brian Anderson of Galva, her siblings; Catalina (Rudy) Sias of Las Cruces, NM, Corina (Duane) VanDeSampel of Galva, Maria Rodriguez (Jason Dazley) of Kewanee, Josephine Ibarra and Brianne Blanks, both of Kewanee and Jenni Leverette of Hannibal, MO and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother in infancy, James R. Ibarra II.

Jeanny graduated from Kewanee High School in 2005 and from Black Hawk College East Campus. She was an accountant for Branchfield Castings in Galva. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Kewanee and Stand on the Rock Church in Hannibal, MO. She was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan who enjoyed riding her bike, walking, dancing, listening to music and gardening and planting and raising flowers. She cherished her family and loved spending time with her family and friends.

Cremation will be accorded and a memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, July 26 at the First Christian Church in Kewanee with Pastor John Reside officiating. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the services at the church. Memorials may be directed to her children. Rux Funeral Home in Kewanee is in charge of arrangements.
