KEWANEE – Jerry L. Sutton Jr., 37, of Kewanee, died at 3:16 p.m., Monday, November 11, 2024 in the emergency room at OSF Saint Luke Medical Center in Kewanee.
He was born July 16, 1987 in Kewanee, the son of Jerry L. Sutton Sr. and Billie J. (Ince) Ingle. Survivors include his father, Jerry of Kewanee, his mother and stepfather, Billie (Robert) Ingle of Kewanee, his fiancée, Tabatha Valentine, three sons; Kooper, Clayton and Brantley Sutton, daughter, Alexandria Valentine, two brothers, Anthony “AJ” Sutton and his fiancée Patricia Adams and Jason Sutton and his fiancée Amberlyn Hockett, both of Kewanee, sister, Autumn Sutton of Spring Hills, FL, step-grandfather, Don Ingle and several aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his son, William John Sutton, maternal grandparents, Don (Chris) Ince, paternal grandparents, Donald (Janet) Sutton, step-grandmother, Mercedes Elaine Ingle and cousin, Corey Anderson.
Jerry graduated from Kewanee High School in 2005. He had worked as a corn sorter for Wyffels Hybrids. He was an avid Green Bay Packers fan and enjoyed watching WWE and drawing tattoo designs and artwork.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, November 18 at Rux Funeral Home in Kewanee with John Alvarez officiating. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the services at the funeral home. The burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to his family.
