Johnnie Lynn D'Andrea

GALVA – Johnnie Lynn D’Andrea, 73, of Galva, died at 2:06 a.m., Monday, January 6, 2025 in the emergency room at Saint Luke Medical Center in Kewanee.

She was born on October 3, 1951 in Shelby County, TN, the daughter of John and Ruby (Hawthorn) Chapman. She married Angelo Paul D’Andrea on October 25, 1971 in Las Vegas, NV. Survivors include her husband, her daughter, Angelina D’Andrea and her significant other Kevin Pletz, four stepchildren; Angelo D’Andrea, Tawny D’Andrea, Rayette D’Andrea and Michael D’Andrea, sister, Diane Felten, sister in laws; Olline Hernandez (Benny), Peteann Murphy (Scott), Raymond D’Andrea (Dianne Banno D’Andrea) and Camille Diaso D’Andrea, three grandchildren; Ariel Makowski, Vinessa Bajner and Jake Pletz and three great grandchildren; Sophia, Autumn and Hunter. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Johnnie worked in the pet department at Walmart. She enjoyed doing puzzles, crocheting and her beauty products. She loved her family and cherished the time spent with her children and grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m., Monday, January 13 at Rux Funeral Home in Galva with Pastor Haley Hausman officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the services at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Galva Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to a charity of the donor’s choice.
