Jordan Pyles

KEWANEE - Jordan C. Pyles, 29, of Kewanee, passed away peacefully at 10:59 p.m., Saturday, August 9, 2025 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria, embraced in love by his close family.

A ceremony honoring his life will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 19 at Rux Funeral Home in Kewanee. He will be put to rest at Pleasant View Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the family’s memorial for Jordan.

A bundle of Light, Jordan was born on January 5, 1996 in Kewanee, the son of Teresa Currie. She survives as well as his big sister, Jacynth Currie of Kewanee and big brother, Jerryn Currie of Los Angeles. His family is united in prayer honoring his incredible life, led by his grandmother, Dorothy, his aunts, Toni, Terrill and TJ, his uncle’s, Thayer, Troy and Dwayne, and many cousins, Jasmin, Tarah, Alexa, Sanai, Marissa, Trey, Thalia, Tevin, Tyson, London, Levi, Nicholas, Reign, Enzo, Shia, Luca and Khloe.

A KHS graduate in 2014, Jordan loved spending time at home with his family and loved his animals very much. He joins a few in his passing, and those surviving will miss him every day. He had a passion for online gaming, technology, psychology, nature and wildlife documentaries and worked as a Realtime Captioner.
