Judith Kay Mott

GALVA - Judith Kay “Judy” Mott, 77, of Galva, passed away at 8:00 a.m., Friday, June 5, 2020 at her home.

Cremation will be accorded and a celebration of life gathering will take place at a later time. Memorials may be directed to the Judy Mott Memorial Fund and can be directed to the family or be sent to Rux Funeral Home, 313 Market St. Galva, IL 61434.

She was born September 18, 1942 in Peoria, IL, the daughter of Roy and Margaret Jane (Russell) Rennau. She married Art H. Mott Sr. of October 24, 1962. Survivors include her husband of Galva, a daughter, Maggie (Brian) Goodman of Galva, two sons, Chris (Dawn) Mott of Galva and Art (Crystal) Mott Jr. of Kewanee, six grandchildren, Matthew, Zach, Kile, Rian, Conner and Gracie, two great grandchildren, Finnlee and Ozlynn and one on the way.

Judy was a homemaker and enjoyed feeding the birds and squirrels and tending to her flower gardens. She especially enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
