Judy Lynn McCall

KEWANEE – Judy Lynn McCall, 71, of Kewanee, died at 9:56 a.m., Friday, October 17, 2025 at her home surrounded by her family.

She was born on January 7, 1954 in Geneseo, the daughter of Alphonse and Irene (Nussears) Hicks. She married David W. McCall Sr. on July 3, 1982 and he preceded her in death on December 29, 2006. Survivors include her two sons, David (Abigail) McCall Jr. of Kewanee and Codie (Elizabeth) McCall of Alabama, her two daughters, Tenika McCall (Samuel Guzman) of Kewanee and Tanya Smith of Texas, fiver sisters; Carol Dykeman and Cheryl Israel, both of Kewanee and Sandra (Roger) Sweeney, Yvonne (Danny) Wells and Missy Minnaert, all of Tennessee and eight grandchildren; Aubree and Kash, Kaleeah, Everly, Elliott and Rennon and Angelo and Jasmine. She was also preceded in death by her parents.

Judy graduated from Kewanee High School. She attended the First Congregational Church in Kewanee. She was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking. She especially loved her family and cherished the time spent with them.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, October 24 at the First Congregational Church in Kewanee with Pastor Justin Rumley officiating. There will be no visitation. The burial will follow at Pleasant View Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to her family.
