Kingstyn R. Dechant

KEWANEE - Kingstyn R. Dechant, 3-day old son of Lena and Tommy Dechant of Kewanee, slipped quietly into the arms of Angels on Friday, August 21, 2020 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria where he had been born on August 18, 2020.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 5 at Rux Funeral Home in Kewanee. Rev. Mara Ahles-Iverson will officiate. Memorials may be directed to the family.

He was born on August 18, 2020 in Peoria, the son of Tommy and Lena (Goad) Dechant. He is survived by his parents, his siblings, Haela Goad and Kamdyn, Brittyn and Maddox Dechant and grandparents, Amy (Russell) Bailey, Don (Dodie) Dechant and John (Elsie) Goad.

In just a short amount of time he had touched the hearts and lives of his family and they know that he will live in the corners of their hearts forever.
