Leonard H. Bengston

KEWANEE - Leonard H. Bengston, 65, of Galva, formerly of Kewanee, died at 4:44 p.m., Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at his home.

Cremation will be accorded and private services were held with his family. Memorials can be directed to the family c/o his mother Janette Bengston.

He was born on July 10, 1956 in Moline, IL, the son of Leonard and Janette (Schelfaut) Bengston. He is survived by his mother Janette of Harrison, AR, a sister, LuAnn of Arkansas, four brothers, John and Mike, both of Galva and Jerry and David, both of Kewanee and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father.

He had worked as a sorter and bailer operator at Eagle Enterprises in Galva. He enjoyed working on cars and doing mechanical work and listening to Elvis Presley music.
