Lillie A. Taylor

KEWANEE – Lillie A. Taylor, 59, of Kewanee, died at 12:47 a.m., Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at South Baldwin Regional Medical Center in Foley, AL.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, December 31 at Evergreen Memorial Gardens in rural Kewanee. Memorials may be directed to the family for a memorial to be established. Rux Funeral Home in Kewanee is in charge of arrangements.

She was born July 7, 1961 in Alabama, the daughter of Lillie Keel. She married Dennis L. “Zach” Taylor on September 29, 1979 in Kewanee and he preceded her in death on January 25, 2018. Survivors include her mother, her daughter, Cheryl (Jesse) Rohrig, her son, Zachary (Sara) Taylor, six grandchildren; Brandon (Kailah) Rohrig, Damon and Camron Rohrig and Bayleigh, Brielle and Bensyn Taylor and two siblings, Kathy Hilburn and David Cottle. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Tommy and Russell Cottle and her in-laws.

Lillie had worked at Excelled Sheepskin & Leather in Kewanee. She enjoyed crocheting and playing cards and especially enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
