Madolyn J. Keller

KEWANEE - Madolyn J. Keller, 77, of Kewanee, died at 11:22 a.m., Saturday, August 18, 2018 at Manor Court of Princeton after a brief illness.

Cremation has been accorded and a memorial visitation will be held from 2:00-4:00 p.m., Saturday, August 25th at Rux Funeral Home in Kewanee. Memorials may be directed to the Madolyn Keller Memorial Fund.

She was born June 22, 1941 in Kewanee, the daughter of Glenn “Bud” and Dorothy (McBride) Burger. She married Doyle Finin in 1959. They divorced in 1979 and then she married Loyd Keller on February 18, 1984 in Kewanee. They survive as do her children, Robert (Susan) Finin of Davenport, IA, Glenn Finin of Lawton, OK, Alicia Peed of Tiskilwa, Christine (Doug) Warren of Toulon and Brenda (Gary) Brokaw of Princeton, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren and a half- sister, Gladys Swearingen of Kewanee. She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Kimberly Coles, a granddaughter, Jamie Peed, two brothers and one sister.

Madolyn attended Kewanee Schools and had been a homemaker. She enjoyed being outdoors and fishing, painting, doing ceramics and coloring.
