Taylorsville, Utah — Marc Anthony Marrero, age 30, of Taylorsville, Utah, formerly of Little Rock, AR, and Kewanee, IL, passed away on December 22, 2025.
Marc was born on November 29, 1995, in Chicago, Illinois, the son of Jose and Carmen (Maestre) Marrero. He was preceded in death by his father, Jose M. Marrero.
He is survived by his mother, Carmen Maestre of Kewanee, IL; his beloved daughter, Avery Amaris Marrero; his sister, Gloryvil Maestre; five brothers, Ely Concepcion Jr., Josue (Sway) Marrero, Joseph Marrero, Christopher Marrero, and Christian LeSure; seven nieces and nephews; and a host of cousins, aunts, and uncles.
Marc attended schools in Little Rock, AR, and Kewanee, IL, where he spent much of his early years. He was employed as a maintenance technician with Salt Lake City Plaza Hotel.
Marc enjoyed anime and riding his motorcycle and shared a special bond with his beloved dog, Coconut. He will be remembered for his sense of humor and the joy and love he brought to family and friends.
Cremation will be accorded and a memorial visitation will be held from 2:00-3:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 13 at Rux Funeral Home in Kewanee.
