Margaret J. Wall

NEPONSET – Margaret J. Wall, 94, of Minier, IL, formerly of Neponset, died at 11:15 p.m., Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at UnityPoint Health-Pekin.

Private funeral services for her family and relatives will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, February 4 with a private visitation one hour prior to the services at Rux Funeral Home in Kewanee. Burial will be in Floral Hill Cemetery in Neponset. Memorials may be directed to the First Congregational Church of Neponset or to the Floral Hill Cemetery Fund.                                                                                                                                       

She was born January 29, 1926 in Neponset, the daughter of Lloyd and Leola (Grier) Bennett. She married Robert Wall on March 1, 1947 in Kewanee and he preceded her in death on November 15, 1996. She is survived by a son, John (Lori) Wall of Minier, IL, three daughters; Andrea (Steve) Streight of Peoria, Pat (Kevin) Enderlin of Stanford, IL and Nancy (Keith) McKay of Erie, IL, ten grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, a sister Virginia Moore of Sheffield, IL, a brother James (Marlene) Bennett of Wheaton, IL and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Clarence, Warren and Lloyd Jr. and a great granddaughter, Remi Wall.

Margaret was a homemaker and had helped her husband on the family farm. She was a member of the First Congregational Church of Neponset and the Ladies Aid Society. She enjoyed quilting and sewing and enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.
