KEWANEE - Marilyn Jean May, 83, a resident of Aperion Care Princeton, formerly of Kewanee, died at 11:26 p.m., Sunday, February 16, 2020 at the care center in Princeton.
Graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, February 19 at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Deacon Martin VanMeltebeck will officiate. Memorials may be directed to Saint John Paul II Parish in Kewanee. Rux Funeral Home in Kewanee is in charge of arrangements.
She was born June 8, 1936 in Chicago, the daughter of Henry F. and Eileen M. (Coyle) Burggraf. Survivors include a son, Mark (Nancy) Hill, two daughters, Lisa (Louis) Randazzo and Patty Williams, a daughter-in-law, Julie Hill and several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, John Hill, a daughter, Kimberly Laquist, a sister, Janet Olson and a brother, Jack Burggraf.
Marilyn had worked as a gas meter supervisor in Neponset and also at Project Now in Kewanee. She was a member of Saint John Paul II Parish in Kewanee.
