KEWANEE – Michael Dale Hufnagel, 61, of Kewanee, died at 7:23 a.m., Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at his home.

Cremation will be accorded and no services are planned at this time. Memorials may be directed to his family. Rux Funeral Home in Kewanee is in charge of arrangements.

He was born October 16, 1960 in Princeton, IL, the son of Robert and Alice (Grant) Hufnagel. Survivors include his fiancée, Deborah St. Clair of Kewanee, his son, Justin Burwell of Peoria, his two daughters, Jillia (Andrew) Robinson of Neponset and Brittany Spurling of Clearlake, CA, a brother, Kenneth Hufnagel of Kewanee, a sister, Deanna Logan of Effingham, IL, several grandchildren and Deborah’s children, Heather and Matthew St. Clair. He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents, a brother, Bobby and a son, Michael Ryan Hufnagel in infancy.

Michael had worked as a welder at Pines Trailer in Kewanee for 10 years. He enjoyed fishing locally, horseback riding and riding motorcycles.
