Nancy I. Rollins

ALTONA – Nancy I. Rollins, 87, of Altona, died at 1:20 a.m., Thursday, October 8, 2020 at OSF St. Mary Medical Center in Galesburg.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, October 12 at Galva Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the Toulon Historical Society. Rux Funeral Home in Galva is in charge of arrangements.

She was born September 25, 1933 in Stockton, IL, the daughter of Benjamin and Florence (Carpenter) Parker. She married Thomas L. “Tom” Rollins on July 6, 1952 in Toulon and he preceded her in death on April 12, 2004. Survivors include her six sons; Ronald (Tammy) Rollins of Victoria, Donald Rollins of Dahinda, Roger (Linda) Rollins of Altona, Thomas (Connie) Rollins of Victoria, Jonathan (Anne) Rollins of Oneida and Kenneth (Nancy) Rollins of Altona, two brothers, Jerry (Carol) Parker of Mattoon, IL and Richard (Regina) Parker of Phoenix, AZ, two sisters, Patricia Chapman and Judith Gossett, both of Park City, KY, sixteen grandchildren, twenty-three great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren with two on the way. She was also preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Edmond and Curt and a sister, Joyce Sloan.

Nancy graduated from Toulon High School in 1951. She was a homemaker and helped operate the family farm and did bookkeeping. She had been affiliated with the Toulon Methodist Church. She enjoyed reading and doing puzzles.
