Nancy (Tossell) DeLathouwer

Nancy (Tossell) DeLathouwer, 69, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 9, 2026.

Born August 8, 1956 in Kewanee, IL, she was the daughter of James and Erma Tossell. Nancy graduated from Kewanee High School in 1974. She married Tim DeLathouwer and they spent 48 wonderful years together. Tim and Nancy built a beautiful home on the edge of town where Nancy enjoyed raising her family, tending to her garden, and crafting beautiful quilts. She was a devoted mother who encouraged her children and grandchildren to be creative and active. She will be remembered for her kindness, creativity, and sense of humor.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Tim; her mother, Erma (Richards) Tossell; father, James Tossell, and her brothers, Jim and Bruce Tossell.  She is survived by her children, Lisa and Tim, her sisters, Connie and Ginger, her brother, Dick, and her grandchildren, Emile, Colin, Angela and Eli.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, June 25 at Rux Funeral Home in Kewanee, IL. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Family and friends are invited to attend. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Kewanee YMCA.
