Patricia A. "Pat" Lindsey

KEWANEE - Patricia "Pat" A. Lindsey, 95, passed away comfortably in her home June 3, 2021. 

She was born and raised here in Kewanee growing up in the First Christian Church of Kewanee and was baptized there as well. Pat graduated in 1942 and then married James Marsh in 1943. Their only child, Roxie Marsh Holt preceded her in death in October of 2017.

Pat worked for many years as an elevator operator and then retired after a career at GTE here in Kewanee's corporate office. Later in life Pat married Blancit Lindsey and the two enjoyed weekend road trips and were members of the Wyanet Old Car Club where she also held office as their secretary for some time.

Pat enjoyed decorating her lovely home and spending time at Johnson Sauk Park Lake with all of her very close friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her sisters Donna and Arleta and her lovely daughter Roxie as well as her husband Blancit. Pat is survived by her best pal Chloe, the family dog and the two spent their afternoons keeping each other such wonderful company. She is also survived by her granddaughters Heidi Lyon and Holly Cribbs as well as numerous great grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, July 17 at Rux Funeral Home in Kewanee with Rev. Martin Gutzmer officiating. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Shriners Hospital for Children.
