GALVA - Patrick Howard Williams, 70, of Galva, formerly of Pahrump, NV, died Sunday, February 18, 2024 at his home.
He was born March 17, 1953 in Indianapolis, IN, the son of Harry Floyd Williams Sr. and Geraldine (Havely) Williams White. Survivors include his ex-wife, Debby Williams, his four daughters; Katie, Mandy, Heather, and Tara a brother, Harry Williams, sister, Peggy Warner and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Mike Williams and sister, Sandy Horton.
Patrick graduated from Southport High School in Indianapolis, IN and then from Hanover College in Hanover, IN and Indiana University in Bloomington, IN. He taught and coached in Indiana, Kentucky and Nevada and at Hanover and Earlham Colleges. He was also the director of Pistol Pat Basketball Camps that were held throughout the United States and internationally.
Throughout his career Pat received several awards including inductions into the Hanover College Hall of Fame and the Southport Hall of Fame and the Kentucky Colonel Award. He also had the privilege of playing on the Indiana All-Star team.
Cremation will be accorded and no services are planned at this time. Rux Funeral Home in Galva assisted the family with the arrangements.
