Paula G. Henderson

KEWANEE – Paula G. Henderson, 72, of Kewanee, died at 4:00 a.m., Sunday, August 18, 2024, at the Kewanee Care Home.

She was born February 1, 1952, in Kewanee, the daughter of Paul and Becky (Carter) Millman. She was survived by her two sons, Chad Henderson of Geneseo and Shane Henderson, her brother, Mitchell (Roxane) Millman of Cape Coral, FL, nieces; Michelle DeRycke, Jennifer Pitman and Suzanna Kidder and her great aunt, Grace Millman. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Paula graduated from Kewanee High School in 1970 and obtained a master’s degree and later a doctorate in administration from Drake University. She was of the Christian faith and was always willing to serve and help others, especially individuals with developmental disabilities. She enjoyed reading and travelling to Paris, London, France and Germany.

Cremation will be accorded, and private inurnment will be held at Evergreen Memorial Gardens in rural Kewanee. Memorials may be directed to the family for a memorial to be established. Rux Funeral Home in Kewanee is assisting the family with arrangements.
