Piper Lanay Armbright was received into the loving arms of Jesus at 10:29 p.m., Friday, June 6, 2025 with her loving husband Craig by her side.
She was born on February 15, 1972 in Kewanee to the parents of Dale and Jane (Shipway) Charlett. She married Craig Armbright on July 26, 2013 in Central City, CO. She is survived by her mother, Jane Charlett, her six children; Seth Landwehr, Briana (Dalton) Palmer, Courtney (Chandler) Miles, Adam (Rhaelynn) Witte, Whitney Minton and Kane Minton, her grandchildren; Calli, Josiah, Melea, Alayna, Kiara, Nathan and Renley and her five siblings; Kent Charlett, Tracy (Bud) Thorp, Sheri Charlett, Kyle Charlett and Brooke (Steve) Moon. She was preceded in death by her father, Dale Charlett.
Piper truly enjoyed raising her children and spending time with her grandbabies. She loved her large extended family and celebrating all the holidays with them. She had a deep passion for working with her life skills students at Kewanee High School.
She was a gentle soul, with the patience of a saint. She always found the time to listen closely to anyone that needed a sounding voice. Always treating everyone like family while passing along love, and her open-minded perspectives about life will be missed by all.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 11 at St. Peter’s Evangelical Church UCC in Kewanee with Pastor Michael Cassady officiating. Memorials may be directed to an education fund for her two youngest children, Whitney and Kane. Rux Funeral Home in Kewanee is assisting the family with arrangements.
