Randal "Randy" Jenkins

KEWANEE - Randal R. "Randy" Jenkins, 73, of Kewanee, died at 4:12 p.m., Sunday, April 27, 2025 at Arcadia Care at Kewanee.

He was born on October 28, 1951 in Kewanee, the son of Jack and Joann (Weeks) Jenkins. Survivors include his son, Matt (Beth) Jenkins of Kewanee, his daughter, Monica (Darrin) Nelson of Henderson, KY, a sister, Marlene Nelson of Toulon, two grandchildren, Kyle and Morgan and his significant other, Sandy Moraski. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Rick.

Randy graduated from Kewanee High School in 1969. He worked in maintenance for the Kewanee Park District and had also been a buyer for the Kewanee Boiler Corporation and a fireman with the Kewanee Fire Department. He was an avid fan of the Chicago Cubs and the “Fighting Irish” Notre Dame. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and going to the VFW.

Cremation will be accorded and private family services will be held at Toulon Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society. Rux Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
