Rickey See

NORMAL – Rickey R. See, 73, of Normal, formerly of Kewanee, died at 7:51 a.m., Wednesday, March 5, 2025 at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center in Bloomington.

He was born on September 2, 1951 in Kewanee, the son of Richard and Yvonne (Wolfe) See. He married Carol A. Kallas on February 14, 1986. Survivors include his wife, Carol, a son, Tim See, three daughters; Carrie Hero, Nikki Elmore and Devon Stangland, his sister, Margaret (Jim) DeBord and several grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Vicki Hamilton and an uncle, Bob Stabler.

Rick graduated from Kewanee High School in 1969 and attended Black Hawk College East Campus. He was a supply supervisor for Verizon for 37 years. He enjoyed working with tools and taught himself to do home construction. He was an avid fan of the Chicago Bears and Cubs and enjoyed golfing with friends and in several leagues.  

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, March 10 at Rux Funeral Home in Kewanee with Linnea Gustafson officiating. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the services at the funeral home. The burial will be at Pleasant View Cemetery in Kewanee. Memorials may be directed to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
