KEWANEE – Robert W. Christiansen, 61, of Kewanee, died Thursday, April 28, 2022 at OSF St. Anthony Medical Center in Rockford.
Cremation will be accorded and private services will take place at a later date. Memorials may be directed to Fueling a Future, 404 E. Prospect St., Kewanee, IL 61443. Rux Funeral Home in Kewanee is in charge of arrangements.
He was born July 10, 1960 in Chicago Heights, IL, the son of William and Anna (Sammet) Christiansen. Survivors include his daughter, Katheryn Brown of Surprise, AZ, his brother, Bill (Lori) Christiansen of Kewanee, a granddaughter, Emery, two nieces, Brooke (Dave) Govert of Chicago and Breanne (Bill) Cinnamon of Kewanee and a great niece, Lauren. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Maggie.
Bob graduated from Rich Central High School in Olympia Fields, IL and attended the University of Illinois and the University of Central Florida. He had worked as an electrician and also did boat building and repair. He enjoyed his dog, Zeus and was an avid Chicago White Sox and Fighting Illini fan.
