Roger Alan Josephson

Roger Alan Josephson Sr, 71, of Colorado Springs, Co, died at 1:45 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 2, 2025 at Pikes Peak Hospice.

Born June 11, 1953, in Galesburg, Illinois, to Richard S “Red” and Ruth E. (Knight) Josephson

He is survived by his life partner, Kristina Knopp, two daughters, Malia Josephson and Dawn (Patrick) Pisani and three sons; Roger Josephson Jr., Charles Josephson, and Matthew Josephson, two stepdaughters, Denise Knopp and Marie Savin.  Also surviving, one sister, Robin (Wayne) Helenthal and one brother, Ronald Josephson, and thirteen grandchildren

He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Richard Jr, Randall and Roderick, and one grandson.

He attended school in Williamsfield, Illinois. He served in the U S Army for twenty years in the Military Police and worked in private security afterwards.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 15 at the Williamsfield United Methodist Church with Rev. Zoila Marty officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the services at the church. The burial will be in Williamsfield Cemetery where military rites will be accorded by the Williamsfield American Legion. For those unable to attend services in person, the funeral will be live-streamed on the Rux Funeral Home Facebook page. Memorials may be directed to the Williamsfield United Methodist Church. Rux Funeral Home in Williamsfield is assisting the family with arrangements.
