Sally J. Brown

WILLIAMSFIELD - Sally J. Brown, 62, of Williamsfield, died at 11:55 a.m., Thursday, December 5, 2024 at her home.

She was born December 8, 1961 in Galesburg, the daughter of Clifford and Emma Jean (Lumberry) Sexton. She married David L. Brown on July 11, 1981 and he preceded her in death on September 23, 2024. Survivors include her two sons, Douglas Brown (Rexanna Munson) of Monmouth and Alan (Tierney) Brown of Williamsfield, her twin brothers, Kenny and Joey German, two sisters, Mick Mosher and Betty Wilson and five grandchildren; Josh Brown, Becca Brown, Emma Johnson, Victoria Brown and Ozzie Kimler. She was also preceded in death by her parents, brother, David Sexton and her son, Dale.

Sally graduated from Williamsfield High School in 1980. She worked as a cook at the Watering Hole and had also worked at the Squirrel Cage and Neighbors Tap. She enjoyed cooking and mowing and caring for her yard. She loved her family and cherished the time spent with them.

Cremation will be accorded and graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, December 13 at Williamsfield Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the family. Rux Funeral Home in Williamsfield is assisting the family with arrangements.
