Sally A. Smith

WILLIAMSFIELD - Sally A. Smith, 74, of Williamsfield, died at 5:30 a.m., Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at OSF St. Mary Medical Center in Galesburg.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m., Friday June 2 at Rux Funeral Home in Williamsfield with Pastor Mark Dexter officiating. Visitation will be held from 12:30 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Williamsfield Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the family.

She was born March 30, 1949 in Peoria, IL, the daughter of Cecil and Emma Lucille (Corum) Green. She married Donald E. Smith on September 30, 1967 in Williamsfield. He survives as well as a daughter, Nicky A. (Nicholas) Brown of Victoria; sons, Ryan (Patricia) Smith and Justin Smith both of Williamsfield, six grandchildren; Alex (Amanda) Yerkey, Lindsey (James) Mackie, Bryce Smith, Tessa Brown, Sadie Steele and Cordie Brown, four great-grandchildren; Cameron Yerkey and Charlotte, Hannah and Ruby Mackie. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Ricky Green.

Sally graduated from Williamsfield High School in 1967. She was a homemaker and of the Methodist faith. She enjoyed bowling in her younger years and enjoyed coffee with her friends and cronies. She also enjoyed collecting teapots.
