Sandra K. Henriksen

KEWANEE – Sandra K. Henriksen, 77, of Kewanee, died at 6:56 p.m., Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at her home.

Cremation will be accorded and a memorial service will be held at later date. Rux Funeral Home in Kewanee is in charge of arrangements.

She was born August 25, 1943 in Kewanee, the daughter of Glenn and Marie (Brunner) Stone. She married Harry E. Henriksen on August 28, 1965 at Boyds Grove Methodist Church in rural Bradford and he preceded her in death on May 24, 2018. Survivors include her two sons, Jeff (Teri) Henriksen of Winona, MN and Rich (Karen) Henriksen of Saint Croix Falls, WI, a brother, Ron (Eileen) Stone of Henry, IL, a sister, Donna Halfwassen of Sheffield, IA, six grandchildren and four great grandchildren with one on the way. She was also preceded in death by her parents.

Sandra graduated from Bradford High School. She had worked as a nurse’s aide at Mercer County Hospital in Aledo and as an office receptionist at Anderson Chiropractic Clinic in Reedsburg, WI and then later at Johnson Chiropractic Clinic in Kewanee. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Kewanee and enjoyed playing golf and gardening. Most importantly she was a loving wife and mother.
