Shirley Marsh

Shirley Marsh, 87, of Kewanee, passed away on January 12, 2025, at OSF Saint Luke Medical Center in Kewanee.

Shirley was born on March 14, 1937, to Lawrence and Darlene (Berg) Powers. She graduated from Kewanee High School in 1955 and later retired from Abilities Plus, where she worked as a Living Skills Specialist.

She was preceded in death by her son, Kevin Marsh; her parents, Lawrence Powers and Darlene Berg; and three brothers, Stanley “Butch” Powers, Danny “Skip” Powers, and Terry “Bones” Powers.

Shirley is survived by her son, Joey Marsh; four grandchildren, Ryan (Holly) Marsh, Nicole (John) Enderle, Autumn (Cassie) Willis, and Michael Jones; five step-grandchildren, Robert Willey, Ronald Willey, Jennifer Willey, Chasidy (Chris) Dunn, and Lance Carder; as well as six great-grandchildren and nine step-great-grandchildren.

In keeping with Shirley’s wishes, there will be no calling hours or funeral services. The family will honor her memory in a private gathering. Memorials may be directed to the family for a memorial to be established. Rux Funeral Home in Kewanee is assisting the family with arrangements.
