Teresa Lynn Brock

KEWANEE- Teresa L. Brock, 55, of Kewanee, died at 9:21 a.m., Thursday, December 12, 2024 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Cremation will be accorded and a Celebration of Life will be held at Jay’s Place on December 21 from 12:00-4:00 p.m. Memorials may be directed to Moments by Mutti. Rux Funeral Home in Kewanee is assisting the family with arrangements.

She was born February 6, 1969 in Kewanee the daughter of Wilmer and Dorothy (Barnes) Shambaugh. She married John Brock on July 17, 1992 in Kewanee. Those surviving include her husband, John, her son, Jace (RaeAnn) Brock of Kewanee, her brother, Jamie Shambaugh of Kewanee, her sisters, Sherry Hill of Kewanee and Laura (Dean) Rosenow of Florida, and her grandson Jayden. She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings; Robert and Gary Shambaugh and Diane Lambert.

Teresa attended Kewanee High School and went on to become the owner and operator of Brock’s Corner Tap. Her hobbies included riding motorcycles with her husband, camping with her family, collecting gnomes and diamond paintings. Teresa was an exceptional cook and loved to have family and friends over for cookouts. She will be deeply missed by her friends and family.
