Teresa L. Porter

GALVA – Teresa L. Porter, 56, of Galva, died at 10:18 a.m., Wednesday, April 1, 2020 at the OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria.

Cremation will be accorded and a Celebration of her Life will be held at a later date. Memorials may be directed to the family. Rux Funeral Home in Galva is in charge of arrangements.

She was born March 26, 1964 in Kewanee, the daughter of Terry and Mary (Raley) Porter. She married David L. Kerner on December 22, 2009 in Cambridge after being together since March of 1983. Survivors include her mother, husband of Galva and her son, Joshua Porter and her brother, Jeff Porter, both of Galva. She was preceded in death by her father.

Teresa graduated from Galva High School. She was a homemaker and had worked at Eagle Enterprises. She was of the Catholic faith and had attended St. John’s Catholic Church in Galva. She enjoyed attending auctions and yard sales.
