Terry A. Welch

NEKOMA – Terry A. Welch, 75, of rural Woodhull, died at 7:20 p.m., Sunday, January 3, 2021 at the Kewanee Care Home.

Cremation was accorded and inurnment will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 5 at Davenport Memorial Park. Memorials may be directed to the Galva Assembly of God Church. Rux Funeral Home in Galva is in charge of arrangements.

He was born July 30, 1945 in Davenport, IA, the son of Orville and Lillian Welch. Survivors include his close friends, Ron Hepner and Robert Hook and he was preceded in death by his parents.

Terry was a tax accountant and had Welch's Tax Service in Nekoma and then later sold to Compton Accounting. He was a member of the Galva Assembly of God Church where he was an overhead music projectionist and a member of its board. He was a member of the Galva Food Pantry board and was also executive secretary of the Independent Accountants Association of Illinois.
