Traci A. Jordan

STERLING - Traci Ann Jordan, 57, of Sterling, died Wednesday, August 28, 2024, at her home.

She was born November 3, 1966, in Kewanee, the daughter of William D. “Bill” and Otelia (Davis) Jordan. Survivors include her father, Bill (Dee) Jordan of Kewanee, her daughter, Tacura (Michael) Wilkinson of Sterling, two sons, Lamar Jordan of Sterling and Terrance Jordan of Clinton, IA, her sister Rochelle Jordan of Kewanee, three brothers: Mark Jordan of Kewanee, Troy Jordan of Davenport and Tramane Jordan of Kewanee, her sister, several grandchildren including granddaughter and caretaker, Jalexiea Britt and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother and brothers, Keith and Bill.

Traci graduated high school and obtained her CNA. She loved taking care of people, always making sure everyone was happy. She was an excellent cook and some of her favorite dishes to prepare were spaghetti and catfish. She enjoyed dancing and listening to music and watching Judge Mathis. She loved doing her make-up and hair and making herself look good.

Most of all, Traci was a loving and caring mother and grandmother and enjoyed teaching her grandchildren about life.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, September 7 at Rux Funeral Home in Kewanee. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the services at the funeral home. The burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery in Kewanee. Memorials may be directed to her family.

There will be no repass but a Celebration of Life for family and friends will be held at a later date.
