Obituary
With the love of her family surrounding her in her home, Vickie Ann Ruzinski, 70, of Galva, Illinois passed away on Saturday, April 8, 2023 at 12:10 a.m.
She was born on March 24, 1953 in Galesburg, Illinois to John Russell Barlow and Helen Mae Lapan Barlow. Vickie graduated from Galva High School in 1971.
Survivors include her loving husband of 37 years, Jim, her children; Rosanne Williams Wexell, Andrew Williams (Tonya), Jennifer Ulaszek (Jim) and Peter Ruzinski (Catharine), sister, Linda Jo (Michael) O’Neal, and sister-in-law, Kay Barlow. She is also survived by her grandchildren; Emilyann and Paige Wexell, Jake (Pasence) and Isles McClintic, Cortnie (Jarod) and Sloane Ackerman, Melissa (Dustin) Dingledine and family, Tim (Misty) Heady and family, Madeline and Grace Ulaszek and Ava and Zeb Ruzinski. Vickie is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and extended family members. Vickie was preceded in death by her parents, her infant son, Jonathon Ross Williams, and a brother, Timothy Barlow.
A Funeral Service will be held 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 12 at Rux Funeral Home in Galva, with Pastor Dan Wright officiating. Visitation will begin 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Galva Cemetery, with a luncheon to follow at the Galva Congregational Church. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
