William D. "Billy" Jordan

KEWANEE - William D. “Billy” Jordan, 48, of Shorewood, IL, formerly of Kewanee, died unexpectedly on Friday, April 22, 2022 in the emergency room at MacNeal Hospital in Berwyn.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, April 30 at the First Congregational Church in Kewanee. Pastor Justin Rumley will officiate. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the services at the church. Memorials may be directed to the William Jordan Memorial Fund. Rux Funeral Home in Kewanee is in charge of the arrangements.

He was born January 1, 1974 in Kewanee, the son of William and Delores (Nyert) Jordan. He is survived by his parents of Kewanee, a daughter, Madaline Jordan, his brothers, Mark Jordan and Tramane (Lovondi) Jordan, both of Kewanee and Troy Jordan of Davenport, IA, three sisters, Traci Jordan of Sterling and Rochelle Jordan and Laurie Sosa, both of Kewanee and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Keith.

Billy graduated from Wethersfield High School in 1992 and then from Western Michigan University with a degree in Communications. He had worked in sales at Tri-Net in Chicago. He was a member of the First Congregational Church. He was an outstanding athlete, an avid Michigan Wolverines fan and enjoyed cooking, music, traveling and especially enjoyed spending time with his family and his daughter.
