William Jack Crain Obituary

PRINCETON - William Jack Crain, 79, of Princeton, died at 3:00 a.m., Sunday, May 29, 2022 at Aperion Care Princeton.

Cremation has been accorded and a memorial visitation will be held from 1:00-3:00 p.m., Thursday, June 2 at Rux Funeral Home in Kewanee. Memorials may be directed to the family.

He was born January 17, 1943 in Wyanet, the son of William and Maggie (Edwards) Crain. Those surviving include a daughter, Tammie Shaw of Kewanee, brother Vernon Crain of Kewanee, his grandkids, Debbie and Wesley Shaw of Kewanee, and a nephew whom he raised as a son, Chris of Texas. William was preceded in death by his parents, his infant son William Jack Crain, five sisters; Martha, Edith, Dorothy, Nellie, and Beulah, and four brothers; Joe, Robert, John, and Raymond.

William was a jack of all trades and worked in many different fields. Most specifically, tree trimming, black topping, mowing, and small engine repair.  He was a kind man that enjoyed motorcycle riding and attending auctions. William cherished his time spent with family and friends.
