KEWANEE - William L. “Bill” Ince Sr., 81, of Kewanee, died at 5:12 p.m., Saturday, July 10, 2021 at his home.
Cremation will be accorded and a Celebration of his Life will be held from 12:00 - 4:00 p.m., Saturday, August 14 at the Flemish-American Club in Kewanee. Memorials may be directed to a charity of the donor’s choice. Rux Funeral Home in Kewanee is in charge of arrangements.
He was born December 7, 1939 in Kewanee, the son of James and Gertrude (Boswell) Ince. He married Judith Ann Hamilton in 1956 and they later divorced. He married Bonnie Bell on August 14, 1993 in Kewanee. Survivors include his wife of Kewanee, his children; Roxann Price of Spring Valley, IL, William L. “Billzo” Ince Jr. of Kewanee, Sindy (Greg) Hanson of Normal, IL, Lindy Richardson, Wendy (James) Thurman, Jimmer (Linda) Ince and Kirk (Teresa) Ince, all of Kewanee and Payton (Brandon) Bach of Washington, IL, a sister, Connie (Kenny) Sellers of Kewanee, two sisters-in-law, Chris Ince of Kewanee and Mary Ellen Ince of Geneseo, brother-in-law, Butch Petty of Kewanee, thirty grandchildren, fifty-six great grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, six siblings; Keith, Phillip and Kenny Ince, Nancy Petty and Donnie and Robert Ince, his daughter, Brenda Piester, a granddaughter, Kayla Piester and great granddaughter, Abigail Sharrow.
Bill worked as a sanitation engineer for the City of Kewanee for 22 years until his retirement in 1995. He enjoyed camping and fishing and was an avid follower of the NFL and NASCAR.
